Build a Fluxer bot by snapping blocks together.

Drag blocks like you would in Scratch, read the real Python they write, then run your bot. Made for people learning the Fluxer bot API with fluxer.py.

Use the Fluxer account that owns your bot. There is no separate password.

import os import fluxer bot = fluxer.Bot( command_prefix="!", intents=fluxer.Intents.default(), ) @bot.event async def on_ready(): print("Bot is online!") @bot.command() async def ping(ctx): await ctx.reply("Pong!") bot.run(os.environ["FLUXER_TOKEN"])

Chat

Send your bot a message. Try !ping

Console

Press Run to start your bot.

Four steps from nothing to a running bot

Nothing to install. You build in the browser and this website runs the bot for you.

  1. Step 1

    Log in with Fluxer

Use your Fluxer account. We only ask for your name and avatar.

  2. Step 2

    Add your bot

Paste its token. We check it with Fluxer and keep it encrypted.

  3. Step 3

    Snap blocks together

Events, messages, variables, lists and more. Each block writes real fluxer.py code.

  4. Step 4

    Run it

Press Run and watch the console. Logs, warnings and errors appear as they happen.

Nine kinds of blocks, from events to variables

Every family has its own colour, the same as in the editor. Pick one to see a few of its blocks.

Events

Every script starts with an event: something happens in Fluxer and your blocks run.

when the bot is ready
when a message is received
when the commandpingis used

Bot

Control the bot itself: its status, its custom status and what it writes to the console.

set custom status toLearning blocks
set status toonline
writeBot is online!to the console

Messages

Talk back: reply to a message, send to a channel, or post an embed.

reply withPong!
sendHello!to this channel
send embedRuleswith textBe kind.colorblue

Message info

Read what was said, who said it and where.

message text
author name
channel ID

Control

Decide and repeat: if / else, loops and waiting.

if…then
repeat10times
wait2seconds

Operators

Join text, compare values and do maths.

joinHello world
a=b
pick random1to10

Variables

Give a value a name, then use it or change it later.

setscoreto0
changescoreby1
score

Lists

Keep many values together and loop over them.

addappletofruits
item1offruits
length offruits

JSON and assets

Use the files you uploaded: read a JSON file, or send an image.

load JSON filequotes.jsonintoquotes
gettitlefromquotes
reply with imagecat.png

Bring your own files

Upload JSON files, images and other assets, then pick them from a block's dropdown. Load a list of quotes from JSON, or reply with a picture.

See what your bot is doing

Run, restart and stop it from the editor. The console shows what your bot writes, plus warnings and errors, so you can find out why something didn't work.

Safe to learn on

You are handing this site a bot token, so here is what happens to it, and to the rest of your data.

  • Your token is encrypted

It is encrypted before it is stored and never shown again. No block can read it, so a bot can't post it into chat.

  • Only your own bots

You can add a bot only if your Fluxer account owns it.

  • Blocks, not arbitrary code

Every block turns into a fixed, checked piece of Python. There is no block that runs code you typed in.

  • Bots run apart from the site

Each run is a separate process with limits on memory, processor time and running time, on a server that is not the website.

  • A minimal login

We ask Fluxer for your name, avatar and ID, then give Fluxer's access token straight back.

  • Delete it all, any time

One button on My bots removes your bots, tokens, blocks and files.
